Tropical Depression 11 Now Tropical Storm Joaquin

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Tropical Depression #11 has gained strength and is now Tropical Storm Joaquin.
It is the tenth named storm of the 2015 hurricane season.
At 11 p.m., the center of the Joaquin was about 400 miles northeast of the central Bahamas. With maximum sustained winds of 40 mph with higher gusts.
The storm was moving to the southwest at 5 mph.
A slow westward motion is expected during the next couple of days.
A slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
