T.S. Joyce Less Organized, Downgraded To Tropical Depression
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Joyce, which continues to pose no threat to land, became less organized Thursday night and was downgraded to a tropical depression.
At 11 p.m., the center of the system was roughly 1200 miles east of the Leeward Islands.
The storm had maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour with some higher gusts. It was moving to the west-northwest at 14 miles per hour.
Little change in strength is expected with during the next 48 hours.
