Traffic Alert: Road Paving May Cause Delays Around MIA
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Travel getting to and from the Miami International Airport could be impacted by road construction.
Alternate lanes on westbound and eastbound SR 112 between NW 21st Street/Central Boulevard and NW 22nd Avenue will be closed for some road paving.
The westbound and eastbound exit and entrance ramps for Miami International Airport will also be closed for paving activities.
These road closures will occur Sunday, March 2 through Friday, March 7 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
There will be no access to the Airport entrance and exit ramps from SR 112.
No simultaneous westbound and eastbound SR 112 detours will occur.
The detour for the airport entrance ramp to eastbound SR 112 is as follows:
Continue northbound on NW 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road.
Take the entrance ramp to eastbound SR 112.
The detour for the airport exit ramp from westbound SR 112 is as follows:
Exit at NW 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road
Continue southbound on NW 42nd Avenue/LeJeune Road and re-enter SR 112 south of NW 31st Street to the Airport.
