Traffic Alert: NW 17th Avenue & 836 Ramp Closure

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Drivers traveling eastbound on SR 836 and wanting to exit at Northwest 17^th Avenue will need to take an alternate route beginning Friday night.

The exit ramp from eastbound SR 836 to Northwest 17^th will close at 11 p.m. October 11 for toll plaza removal. The ramp will not reopen until Monday, October 14 at 5:30 a.m.

Drivers can use the Northwest 27^th Avenue ramp and take Northwest 27^th Avenue and turn right.  Then, turn left (east) onto Northwest 7^th Street to get to Northwest 17^th Avenue.

Access to the Northwest 17^th Avenue ramp will only be given to emergency vehicles during the closure.
