Tractor Trailer Accident Ties Up Traffic Outside AAA
MIAMI (CBS4) - A freak accident caused a traffic tie-up outside the American Airlines Arena Wednesday night.
Miami Police say an 18 wheeler carrying two heavy duty engines crashed into the westbound I-395 overpass, knocking one of the engines loose. That engine landed on top of another vehicle, crushing it.
No was was hurt in the accident. Parts of Biscayne Boulevard and the one westbound lane of 395 were shut down for investigation and clean-up.
Traffic for the Taylor Swift concert at the AAA was backed up for blocks as police detoured around the accident.
