Tortuga Music Festival Evacuated Over Severe Storms

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale has been evacuated over severe thunderstorms sweeping through the area.
Severe weather is requiring us to EVACUATE. Please move towards exits + protected areas outside the venue. Help fellow fans out as you can.

One event-goer went to Twitter asking if the event was canceled.
@festivaltortuga They're telling us it's over for the night and there will be no more performances. What do we do? You're saying opposite.

Organizers said they expect the Friday shows to go on after the storms clear out.
