Top Recruit Ditches The U For Louisville
MIAMI (CBS4) - When the University of Miami fired former head coach Randy Shannon, they knew there would be recruiting consequences. The biggest recruit in Miami's class, Northwestern quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is really making the Canes pay.
Bridgewater decommitted to the Hurricanes and instead will enroll at Louisville along with his favorite receiver at Northwestern, Eli Rogers.
For Bridgewater, he said the decision came down to playing time and the love he was shown by Louisville head coach, Charlie Strong.
Bridgewater also had some interesting comments directed at the alumni/fans of the University of Miami and their dedication to "the U."
"I feel comfortable around the coaches and players," Bridgewater texted to the Orlando Sentinel. "I like the city, the school, atmosphere and the fans' loyalty to the program."
