Top Performers From The Dolphins Week 14 Loss To The Giants

The Miami Dolphins slim hopes to make the playoffs came to an end on Monday night as they lost to the New York Giants 31-24.
Miami's record dropped to 5-8, guaranteeing the team its 7th consecutive season without a winning record.
The game started out well for the Dolphins as they found success on offense with a steady mix of runs and throws.
The second half saw Miami fall back into their old ways, almost exclusively passing the ball and shying away from Lamar Miller, who had a huge first half.
Despite the loss, there were still some bright spots on the Dolphins.
Here are the top performers from Miami's latest loss in 2015.
LAMAR MILLER
As was previously mentioned, Miller was having a great game before the Dolphins inexplicably stopped handing him the ball. He finished the game with just 12 carries for 89 yards, a 7.4 yards per carry average, and two touchdowns. One of those scores came on a 38 yard scamper that was one of the best of his career.
RESHAD JONES
Miami's leading tackler had another strong game on Monday, finishing with a team-high 11 tackles and recovering a fumble for the Dolphins only takeaway of the night.
JARVIS LANDRY
You knew coming into this game that Landry and his college teammate Odell Beckham Jr. wanted to put on a show in their first game against each other in the NFL. The pair did not disappoint. Landry led the Dolphins with 11 receptions on a whopping 18 targets for 99 yards. He also did damage in the return game, accumulating 96 yards between punts and kickoffs.
MATT DARR
Miami's undrafted rookie punter continued his impressive first season, finishing with six punts and averaging 46.7 yards per kick. Of those six punts he landed four of them inside the Giants 20 yard line, including three straight that landed inside the 5 yard line and bounced straight in the air. His longest of the game traveled 68 yards, showing that he has touch and power.
