Anne Kolb Nature Center is a great place to take that special someone in your life for a romantic date. There is a three mile nature walk through the mangrove preserve, an eco-room where children and adults can participate in hands-on activities and a 3500 gallon saltwater aquarium filled with sea creatures. Climb the 68 foot, five level observation tower for a romantic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, the West Lake mangrove estuary and the Atlantic Ocean.

Romance can sometimes be found in the most unlikely places. For a nature enthusiast, a visit to Oleta River State Park could be the perfect date spot. There are 14 miles of bike trails for cycling enthusiasts and another 2 miles of nature trails available for visitors to walk through and enjoy all of nature's beauty. Oleta River State Park also has 1200 feet of sandy beaches for beachgoers as well as fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Although there is a $6.00 park admission fee, it is a small price to pay for an out-of-the-ordinary date with that special someone.
