Who were the top five Miami Dolphins performers in Fantasy Football for Week 1? We used CBS Sports standard scoring, adjusted for a point per reception.
Biggest Disappointment: Lamar Miller tallied just 8 fantasy points. His fantasy owners have to be getting antsy after a pedestrian 14 touches to start what many thought will be a breakout season. Expect his usage to ramp up against Jacksonville when Miami's offense should possess the ball more.
5. Jordan Cameron, TE -- 11 points
He had four catches for 73 yards, including a sensational 27-yard grab where he laid out for it down the sideline. Can Cameron top the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career?
3. Rishard Matthews, WR -- 13 points
The man who many didn't expect to be here in 2015 snagged a touchdown and four receptions amid six targets.
3. Ryan Tannehill, QB -- 13 points
226 yards, a touchdown, and a fumble wasn't the line Dolphins fans and fantasy owners hoped for against Washington. But it could have been much worse considering he could have easily walked away with an interception or two.
2. Jarvis Landry, WR -- 14 points
Juice put up a monster day in leagues rewarding individual players for punt-return touchdowns.
1. Dolphins Defense -- 17 points
The punt return for six and two picks helped the Dolphins defense get off to a strong start in fantasy.
Start of the Week: Miami's defense should again tally another stellar fantasy performance in Week 2. Jacksonville gave up the most fantasy points (21) to a defense last week against the Panthers.
