MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Pop star Chris Brown is denying reports that he and his posse were kicked off of a private plane at Miami International Airport for smoking pot on the aircraft.
It happened Monday as Brown and his friends were on a flight to Bermuda, then on to Cannes, France.
According to TMZ, Brown's pilot complained to Miami-Dade Police that there was such a strong smell of marijuana inside the plane's cabin that all of the windows needed to be opened.
The singer posted to social media that not only was TMZ's report untrue, it was the pilot who was looking for drugs and asked someone in his group for an "eight ball" -- slang for cocaine.
While Brown went on to say his crew "don't need drugs," it was the video below, apparently posted by members of his entourage, that alluded to the drug use.
Long story short, Brown and friends eventually made it to Cannes.
No one was arrested.
