Tiger In Four-Way Tie At Cadillac Championship
DORAL (CBSMiami) – Tiger Woods stormed to the front of the leaderboard at the Cadillac Championship Thursday managing to hit nine birdies during his first 18 holes of golf at the tournament.
Woods is tied with three others at the top of the leaderboard with Freddie Jacobson, Dustin Johnson, and Hunter Mahan.
Tiger hit two bogeys on the day and averaged just less than 300 yards per drive on the day. He bogeyed just one hole on his back nine, which was hole number three on the course.
One of Tiger's playing partners, the number one player in the world Rory McIlroy, didn't fare so well on the day at the Cadillac Championship. McIlroy, who quit during the Honda Classic last weekend, struggled near the bottom of the scoreboard all day.
He finished at 73 for a +1 on the day, which puts him in a tie for 51st place in the tournament.
