Tickets For NBA Finals Go On Sale Tuesday
MIAMI (CBS4) – Miami Heat fans filed out of the AmericanAirlines Arena Monday night celebrating, knowing they were there for the team's third Eastern Conference Finals win.
It wasn't a humble win by any stretch, and from t-shirts to calling-in radio shows, Heat fans are not being humble about it either.
"We blew them out. We knew we wanted to do that and we needed to do that to show San Antonio, we're not messing around. We want them and we're going to take them out," said Joe Vazquez.
Many Heat fans, after staying up late to watch the game, showed up at Sports Authority an hour early to purchase their brand new "Top of the East" t-shirt to wear their pride.
Jessica Rosario was one of those fans at Sports Authority. She wanted her daughter to be the first one at school wearing the t-shirt.
And many fans called into sports radio stations, including "The Ticket" to brag about the Heat's skills on the court.
Across town in Hialeah, fans hit the streets and chanted that familiar mantra, "Let's Go Heat!"
It was the same story in West Miami Dade. Those who couldn't go to the game still cheered on the Heat together.
It wasn't cheap to see the real thing in person. Court side seats went for $8,000 and even in the standing room only nosebleed sections, fans were willing to dish near $100 just to be there for the Heat's blowout win in Game 7.
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals go on sale Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. They can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com, Heat.com or by calling 1-8004-NBA-TIX. There will be an eight ticket purchase limit. Individual game ticket inventory is limited and tickets are expected to sell quickly.
You may also purchase tickets at the AAA box office starting at 10:00AM, Wednesday morning. The box office will not open prior to that.
American Express cardholders can purchase American Express Dewar's Rail seating, including valet parking and dinner for Games 1 and 2 starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Dewar's Rail seating can be purchased online at HEAT.com or Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $1,500 each and subject to availability. Any remaining Dewar's Rail seating will be available to the general public starting at 2 p.m.
