Three Broward Charter Schools To Close Doors Friday
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - Three Broward County charter schools will be closed for good as of Friday.
CBS4 News has confirmed that Eagle Charter Academy in Lauderdale Lakes, SMART Charter School in Lauderdale Lakes and Touchdowns4life Charter Middle School in Tamarac will close.
All of the schools governing boards notified the Broward County School district on Thursday that they are voluntarily closing their doors to students. A reason was not readily available.
All students enrolled as the shuttered schools are being told to matriculate to their home schools.
