Thieves Use Truck To Smash Into Cell Phone Store
PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) — Police in Pembroke Pines are investigating a robbery at a cell phone store where the subjects used a truck to smash the front door of the business.
It took place at the Verizon store at 11809 Pines Boulevard just before 4 a.m. Friday morning.
According to police, a white Ford F-150 crashed into the front door and frame of the business.
Officials said surveillance video which has not been released as of Friday afternoon shows the subjects as two white males. One was wearing a grey hooded shirt with black pants and the other had on a black shirt with orange pants.
Police said the men removed nine cell phones worth about $4,500.
