MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The concept of expensive sneakers has just been taken to another level.
A new custom pair of Li-Ning Dwyane Wade sneakers have been released, and the price tag will have jaws hitting the floor.
The one-of-a-kind Wade shoes come with an estimated worth of $4 million.
Bicion, a high-end lifestyle brand out of New York City, along with Mache Customs collaborated with renowned designer Dan Gamache to create the expensive sneakers.
The sneakers are called 'The Fire Monkey' which commemorates the Chinese New Year and celebrates the Year of the Monkey.
The size 15 shoes are covered in diamonds and sapphires, as well as a solid 18k gold tag.
They will be auctioned off with part of the proceeds benefiting Soles for Souls, an organization that has distributed 26 million pairs of shoes to people in need in 127 countries across the globe.
