The Outrageous Concession Stand Food Served At The Texas Rangers' Ballpark
By Alex Darcey
With the MLB All-Star Game rapidly approaching, I wanted to talk about baseball. Not about the game, but more about what is happening in the stands…with the concessions. An all-star stadium in my book, Globe Life Park in Arlington (home of the Texas Rangers), has been serving up some ridiculous concession creations. Here are the top seven foods they offer to help make you fat enough so you can’t leave the stadium.
7. The Kaboom Kabob (2-ft-long skewer of chicken, served with seasonal veggies and comes with a carrying case)
6.The Choomongous ( 2-ft teriyaki beef sandwich topped with spicy slaw and Sriracha on a sweet bun)
5. Poutine Nachos (A play on the Canadian dish but with potato chips instead of french fries)
4. The Tanaco (12 inches of beef and 12 inches of chicken topped with Pico de Gallo, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and jalapeños)
3. "The Boomstick" Hot Dog (2-ft all-beef dog, smothered in chili, nacho cheese, jalapenos and caramelized onions, all on top of a huge potato bun)
2. The Bacon-Stuffed Waffle on a stick (OMG! And you can get a side of syrup or cover it in whipped cream and chocolate)
1. The Sausage Sundae (Made of 3 glorious scoops; Mac n Cheese, Chopped BBQ Brisket, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, finished off with a sausage link split down the middle)
