The Dream Team: The Heat's Road To The Finals
MIAMI (CBS4) - When the Miami Heat eliminated the Chicago Bulls Thursday night, CBS4 Sports Anchor and 790 The Ticket radio show host Jorge Sedano was just as surprised as any of us.
"They erased 45 minutes of great work by the bulls in three minutes. That's unheard of," said Sedano.
But the first half of the season was filled with mistakes and all eyes were on the Dream Team: Lebron, Bosh, and Wade.
"I think we all took for granted how difficult it is when guys haven't played together, for them to form some kind of bond and chemistry on the court," said Sedano.
Sedano says injuries also played a big role. But in the second half of the season something changed.
"They finally found their rhythm with each other. I think that going through the tough times helped them," said Sedano.
And remember the statement from Cavs owner Dan Gilbert? He said, "I personally guarantee that the cleveland cavaliers will win an NBA Championship before [The Heat] Wins one."
"Well he's probably sitting there with some Lebron voodoo doll right now, trying to figure out how this won't happen, but they're there! They probably will win one before the Cleveland Cavaliers," said Sedano.
