Thanksgiving Day Turning Into "Black Thursday"
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving when, traditionally, all holiday shopping bedlam breaks out as shoppers take advantage of super deals designed to kick start the holiday retail season promises to be just as bedlam-filled this year.
The trend of opening stores on Thanksgiving continues to help shoppers get a jump start on their holiday wish lists. Here are the times that many retailers will be opening their doors on Thanksgiving Day.
Retail Chains:
Doors open at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and and remain open to shoppers for "42 hours straight."
Open Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m.
Black Friday deals will be stretched over a 5-day period starting on Thanksgiving and continuing through cyber Monday, with special discounts being offered both online and in brick-and-mortar stores around the country.
Opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, but Black Friday deals started on Nov. 10.
Macy's opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, which is two hours earlier than last year.
Opens at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, one hour earlier than last year.
Doors open at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, it's earliest opening ever, and is offering doorbuster deals until 1 a.m. on Friday morning.
Stores open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will remain open until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Thanksgiving Day which is 3 hours earlier than last year.
Doors open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, two hours earlier than last year.
Doors open on Thanksgiving at 6 p.m. which is 2 hours earlier than last year.
Opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving as part of a week of Black Friday deals.
