WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) — Tennis star Serena Williams has given birth to a baby girl.
The newborn reportedly weighs about 6 pounds and both she and her mother are doing well, according to reports.
Our sister station in West Palm Beach as confirmed that the tennis superstar had gone into labor this morning at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
Williams was reportedly induced Thursday after checking into the hospital on Wednesday.
She accidentally revealed her pregnancy in April in a post on Snapchat.
Williams is engaged to 33-year-old Alexis Ohanian, who co-founded Reddit. This will be their first child.
