SW MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) -- Police have made an arrest in connection to a violent road rage incident in southwest Miami-Dade.
Omar Marquez-Quinones, 19, smashed a car using a baseball bat, according to Miami-Dade Police.
The driver told police she was headed south on S. Dixie Highway when Marquez-Quinones "violently jerked his vehicle in her direction."
She said it appeared he wanted to change lanes and became "enraged" when he wasn't able to, continuing to then swerve his vehicle in and out of the lane as if to strike hers.
Once traffic approached a red light at 132nd Street, Marquez-Quinones allegedly got out of his car, pulled out the bat and smashed the woman's windows.
He faces aggravated assault charges.
