Tropical Storm Tony Forms In Open Atlantic
MIAMI (CBS4) – Tropical Depression 19 gained some intensity in the Atlantic Ocean Tuesday night and is now called Tropical Storm Tony.
At 11 p.m. the center of the system was about 1505 miles west-southwest of the Azores. It was moving to the northeast at 12 mph. The storm's maximum sustained winds are 40 miles per hour.
There are no watches or warnings issued for this storm.
