Slow-Moving Cristobal Brings Rain & Wind To Bahamas
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Cristobal moved through the southeastern Bahamas Sunday and is now slowly creeping north.
As of 11:00 p.m., Cristobal's maximum sustained winds were 45 mph and the storm was moving northward at a rate of 5 miles per hour, north-northwest near the southeastern Bahamas.

Cristobal was about 105 miles east northeast of San Salvador.
A tropical storm warning is in effect for the Central Bahamas including Cat Island, the Exumas, Long Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
Four to eight inches of rainfall is expected across the Turks and Caicos as well as the southeastern and central Bahamas through Tuesday.
Isolated 12-inch rainfall totals are possible.
A watch may be required for the northwestern Bahamas later on Sunday.
Tropical Storm Cristobal's northwestward motion is expected to continue Sunday morning followed by a turn toward the north-northwest and a decrease in forward speed later Sunday and Monday.
The center of Cristobal will move near or over portions of the central Bahamas through Monday.
Some strengthening is forecast through Monday and Tuesday.
