Tannenbaum: "My Belief Is We Can Win With" Tannehill
Miami Dolphins executive vice president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum joined the Big O Show from the Senior Bowl for a 1-on-1 interview about the state of the team.
"I think [General Manager] Chris [Greer] is an understated, hardworking, selfless person that's about getting the right answer and not getting the credit for it."
(On drafting a quarterback) "If we think there's the right player available at the right price, we'll do that. That could be the 8th pick, that could be a third round pick."
"My belief is we can win with [Tannehill]. With that being said, he could still be better and he'd be the first one to tell you that. If we think there's the right opportunity to add the right quarterback, we'd certainly consider it."
"I'm not going to put a number out there to say we have to win eight or ten games to be successful. I am confident that if you or I were sitting here one year from today, we're going to look back on 2016 and say 'that was a good season. It's a season our fans could be proud of. Our future is bright. It's led by an owner that uses every resource in Steve Ross, and a dynamic head coach."
