Talkative Bank Robber Walks With Cash
DANIA BEACH (CBSMiami) – A bank robber who was busy on the phone while he pulled the job was caught on camera. Now the FBI has released his picture in hopes that someone recognizes him and gives Crime Stoppers a call.
It happened Thursday morning around 11 a.m. at the Bank of America at 2903 Stirling Road.
Witnesses reportedly told police the guy walked into the bank, went up to a teller and demanded money. Images from surveillance cameras in the bank show the man on the phone as the teller gathered some cash and handed it over.
The amount taken has not been released.
Other surveillance images show the man, still on the phone, walk out of the bank. The FBI said the getaway vehicle is believed to be an older model, purple in color, Toyota Camry.
