T.S. Leslie Continues Toward Eastern Caribbean
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Tropical Storm Leslie continues its push west-northwest toward the eastern Caribbean.
At 5 p.m. Saturday, the center of the storm was about 330 miles east-northeast of the Leeward Islands.
Leslie has maximum sustained winds of 65 mph, with higher gusts.
The storm is moving west-northwest at 18 mph.
The storm is expected to turn to the northwest and slow down on Sunday.
Leslie should pass well northeast of the Leeward Islands.
Aside from high surf along the coasts of Puerto Rico, the Leeward Islands and the Virgin Islands on Sunday, the storm will have little effect on the eastern Caribbean.
