SWAT Team Swarms Scene Of Fatal Shooting Near Deerfield Beach Park
MIAMI (CBSMIAMI) — The Broward Sheriff's Office SWAT Team rushed to a Deerfield Beach park Wednesday afternoon after reports of a fatal shooting and a man barricaded inside a home nearby.
Chopper 4 over the scene showed a body covered in a white sheet. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
Police are not commenting as to who is barricaded inside the residence or whether they are considered a suspect in the shooting. Witnesses tell CBS4's Ted Scouten that police have two people in custody, but they aren't considered suspects in the shooting.
