SW Dade Man Killed In Police Involved Shooting
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A southwest Miami-Dade man died as the result of a police involved shooting Saturday evening.
Miami-Dade officers were sent to residence at 16150 S.W. 197th Avenue just before 9 p.m. to check on reports of a dispute.
When officers arrived, police say they were "in the process of making contact with the subject, when he produced a knife and shots were fired,"
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police have not released the man's name.
