Surgical Scrub Wearing Duo Robs Miramar Bank
MIRAMAR (CBS4) - The search is on for a pair of light blue surgical scrub wearing bank robbers who held up a SunTrust Bank branch in Miramar.
The pair, described as a man and a woman, hit the bank at 8250 Miramar Parkway around noon, according to police spokeswoman Tania Rues.
Surveillance cameras captured the duo getting out of a black or dark-colored car and entering the bank through the east entrance. Rues said it appears from the images there may have been a third individual, also dressed in scrubs, who remained behind in the car, possibly a getaway driver.
The couple was in and out of the bank in a matter of minutes, police have not said how much was stolen.
