Sunrise Police Officer Crashes Cruiser Into Tree While Trying To Avoid Animal In Road
SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – A Sunrise Police cruiser crashed into a tree early Sunday morning.
No other cars appeared to be involved.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. Sunday on Nob Hill Road in Broward County.
According to police, the officer was trying to avoid hitting an animal in the road when he struck the tree.
The cruiser was badly damaged in the crash.
The officer was transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
