Substance Found On Southwest Plane At PBA Deemed Safe
WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) - Business is back to normal at Palm Beach International Airport after officials say a suspicious substance was found on a Southwest Airlines plane.
Passengers were evacuated off Flight 793 to Baltimore Wednesday, but the substance was later found to be harmless.
Officials have not commented on what type of substance was found.
Airport spokeswoman Cassandra Davis says the plane remained at the airport on Wednesday evening the all clear was given. She did not immediately know whether the passengers boarded another flight to their destination.
Airline officials did not immediately return a phone message left by The Associated Press on Wednesday evening.
