POMPANO BEACH(CBSMiami) -- Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Pompano Beach early Tuesday morning.
Pompano Beach Police said one suspect came in armed and robbed the place around 5 a.m. at the store located at 2391 North Dixie Highway.
Surveillance cameras rolled as the robber was seen waving the handgun and threatening the clerk.
One customer was inside at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
The armed robber may be the same man who held up two convenience stores in another part of Broward County.
Just before 5 a.m. on July 8th, a man walked into a Davie 7-Eleven, armed with a firearm and allegedly ordered the clerk to hand over the register drawer before getting away with cash.
Davie Police said the suspect appeared to be white or Hispanic. He had arrived to the store located at 4490 Weston Road, in what they believe is a black newer model BMW.
He was last seen wearing baggy camouflage shorts, a long sleeve black t-shirt, black low top sneakers, and had an orange bandana wrapped around his face and a black "skull cap" covering his head.
Officers believe this incident is connected to another robbery in Pembroke Pines last Tuesday at a Pembroke Pines gas station.
The robber in both cases seems to have the same method, waving a handgun that's in his left hand.
"He has a certain manner about him," said Dani Moschella with the Broward Sheriff's Office. "Anytime detectives see a surveillance video like this with such an aggressive criminal whose waving a handgun, he's pointing it, he's shouting, we definitely want to stop him."
In the most recent hold up in Pompano Beach, another assailant was seen serving as a lookout for the armed robber.
Davie Police and Pembroke Police are working together on the cases.
