Stolen Credit Cards Used To Buy iPads

WESTON (CBS4) - The Broward Sheriff's Office needs a little help identifying an enterprising thief with a taste for the high-tech.

On Thursday they released a store surveillance picture of the man as he used stolen credit cards to purchase iPads in Sunrise.

According to the sheriff's office, the credit cards were stolen February 15th from 48-year old William Brown Fine Jr.'s Ford Crown Victoria while it was parked at the YMCA on Saddle Club Road in Weston.

Later that day, Fine's credit cards were used by the same man to purchase iPads at Target and Best Buy at Sawgrass Mills.

Anyone who can identify the man in photo is asked to call BSO Weston Detective Brian Tutler at (954) 389-2010 or call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
