Steering You Right: Traffic Alert On I-95 In Miami-Dade & Broward
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- There's a major traffic alert for I-95 this week.
All southbound travel lanes and southbound express lanes on I-95 will be closed off just north of the exit to eastbound I-195 (Julia Tuttle Causeway). Lanes begin to close each night at 10 p.m. and will be re-opened each morning at 5 a.m.
In Broward County, drivers also need to be aware of a closure on I-95.
The exit ramp from southbound I-95 to Sheridan Street will be closed overnights from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. You can continue south and jump off on Hollywood Boulevard instead.
For those of you who drive the East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge, it's closing again.
All lanes on the East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Friday morning.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Sunrise Boulevard via US 1 and all westbound traffic will be detoured to Sunrise Boulevard via A1A.
