Steering You Right: Ft. Lauderdale Airport Construction
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) – Planning on catching a flight or picking up family or friends at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport this week?
Is so, you should note that the U.S.1 entrance is closed due to construction. The entrance will remain closed until Sunday.
Drivers heading north on U.S.1 should continue past the airport, make a U-turn and then enter through the south entrance.
Also this week, three lanes of I-95 from Broward Boulevard to the Golden Glades Interchange are getting a makeover. They will be closed from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. through Sunday.
Don't worry, at least two lanes will remain open at all times. And watch out for the detour signs!
You can also expect up to three lanes to close eastbound on I-595 between University Drive and Davie Road through Friday morning.
