Steering You Right: Airport Expressway Closures This Week
MIAMI (CBS4) – There's a traffic alert on I-95 this week.
All northbound lanes will be closed between NW 2nd Street and NW 7th Street Monday night from midnight until 5 a.m. Express lanes will close at 10 p.m.
On Wednesday and Thursday all southbound lanes and express lanes on I-95 will be blocked off just north of the State Road 112 from midnight to 5 a.m. Drivers will have to take a detour to the Julia Tuttle Causeway.
The Airport Expressway will also be closed this week.
All lanes on westbound SR 112 from NW 27th Avenue to NW 42nd Avenue will be closed Monday night from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. There will be no access to Miami International Airport from the Airport Expressway.
On Wednesday, all eastbound lanes of SR 112 from NW 42nd Avenue to I-95 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
For Broward drivers, the East Las Olas Boulevard Bridge will be shut down every night until Friday morning. The lanes close starting at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. All traffic will be detoured to Sunrise Boulevard.
