Springsteen Set For Tour & New Album In 2012
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The Boss is back.
Bruce Springsteen announced on his website Monday that he and the E Street Band will be on tour in 2012. Springsteen said that he will tour Europe from the middle of May until the end of July and then head stateside.
No tour dates have been announced for the U.S. as of yet, but Springsteen's website said the exact dates will be coming "shortly."
The tour will be the first for the band since the death of legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons. The saxophonist died in June from complications due to a stroke.
Springsteen also announced that he and his band is almost finished with a new studio album. The new album is untitled, but the band said they have almost settled on a release date for sometime in 2012.
