South Florida Took Cover As Storms Rolled Through Tuesday
MIAMI (CBS4) - Another day and another round of strong storms for South Florida. In Broward County, there were numerous reports of wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph as the storms rolled in this afternoon. Miami–Dade County had a few areas that received 1 to 2 inches of rain. Only minor street flooding was reported in spots.
Chief Meteorologist David Bernard says more storms are expected on Wednesday. He says very deep moisture remains entrenched over the state and it's not going anywhere just yet.
Bernard says a drier pattern may take hold by the weekend.
Of course it is South Florida so there will be at least some chance of rain even by then!
