South Fla. Cold Again, More Mild Temps On The Way
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It was another cold start across South Florida Thursday thanks to a powerful cold front that swept across the area.
Lows dipped down into the mid to upper 40s for most of Broward and Miami-Dade overnight and into the early morning hours. South Florida's average low this time of year is 64-degrees.
Thursday afternoon, highs will be cool and closer to our normal low with the upper 60s and plenty of winter sunshine.
Thursday night, there will still be a chill in the air with the 50s near the coast and the mid to upper 40s inland. However, highs Friday will moderate and the weather will be mild with highs climbing to the low 70s.
This weekend winds will increase along with our temperatures.
Although we'll enjoy cool, refreshing nights with the upper 50s and low 60s, highs will be warmer with the upper 70s and a gusty breeze.
Early next week lows will be in the low 60s and highs will soar back to the low to mid 80s.
