MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- While the weather outside, in other parts of the nation, may be frightful, Christmas in South Florida is always warm and delightful.
Yes, our neighbors to the north are shivering in freezing temperatures while South Floridians get to bask on the beach amid swaying palms, balmy breezes and 80-degree temperatures.
With this kind of weather, it makes it kind of tough sometimes to get into the holiday spirit. But South Florida singer-songwriter and Boca Raton native, Mike Mineo and his friends recorded a song that sums up the holidays in Florida perfectly.
