Something Extra: Hocus Pocus
MIAMI (CBS4) - The Internet can be a wonderful thing but it can also be like the wild, wild west with a touch of Voldemort thrown in.
Believe it or not, you can buy what purports to be black magic on eBay.
Want a Haitian Voodoo priest to put a curse on your enemy? You can buy it now for $24.87. Six people already have.
It's only fifteen bucks to buy an extreme black magic revenge spell that will supposedly create havoc on your enemy.
What a deal.
And that's just the beginning of it. There are all sorts of potions, spells and hexes for sale on eBay.
You can also buy white magic, psychic readings, healing sessions, blessings and prayers.
Who knew?
I didn't, until eBay announced today that, starting in September, it will ban all sales of magic services.
Magic services? I don't think they call them that in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Personally, I'd prefer to avoid the supernatural. But if you did want some "magic services" wouldn't you want to meet the wizard, witch, magician, shaman or sorcerer in person?
