Smith On Bosh: "I Don't Believe His Career Is Over"
Sekou Smith, NBA Writer for 'Hang Time' Blog on NBA.com, joined the Big O Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the Miami Heat and the NBA Playoffs.
On Hassan Whiteside:
"I think you have to whether you're comfortable about it or not. Every time you turn around there's a guy getting big money that can't handle it. It's not Hassan Whiteside's fault that he's a free agent. Pat Riley and his staff have had him in their program if they don't step to the plate and offer him that kind of money there's some red flags."
On Chris Bosh:
"I'm not as convinced he's not coming back as you are, I don't believe his career is over. Bosh is a game changer, if you do have him back that changes the entire way you approach free agency. If the Heat have any inkling that Bosh will play again hey have to do whatever they can to preserve that super star core of Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Whatever you put in it is a bonus but you have to have that core group of guys to build around."
