Small Plane Skids Off Runway Following Landing Gear Collapse At Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – It was a scary situation for folks on a small plane at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
The Piper aircraft had its left main landing gear collapse on Sunday causing it to skid off the runway, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.
Five people on the plane were coming in from the Bahamas.
Nobody was hurt.
