Senator Rubio Meets With South Korean Foreign Minister
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA (CBSMiami) -- U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) met with the South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byun-se in Seoul on Friday as part of his trip to South Korea.
Rubio's three-day visit is meant to boost bilateral ties between the two countries.
Rubio arrived in the capital on Thursday making it his final stop on his week-long trip to Asia.
The Republican Senator is expected to discuss regional and global issues with Yun.
On Thursday, Rubio visited the Demilitarized Zone which is the heavily armed border between the two Koreas. He also met U.S. troops there.
Rubio is set to leave South Korea on Saturday.
