Search On For Deadly Hit & Run Driver
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a hit and run driver who left a person dead in the middle of the road.
It happened around 1:00 a.m. when pedestrian was struck in the eastbound lanes of I-195 at North Miami Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle didn't even stop and investigators don't have much to go on.
"We are attempting to locate a vehicle with extensive front end damage with possibly a head light out. We don't know what make or model or color of the vehicle," said Pedro Reinoso of the Florida Highway Patrol.
It's unclear if the bad weather played a role in the accident.
