San Fran Plane Crash Survivors Post Updates On Social Media
MIAMI (CBS4) – Moments after a Asiana Airline's Boeing 777 crashed at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, survivors immediately used social media to share information and post pictures from the scene.
Some of the survivors posted pictures of passengers as they escaped from the plane as it went up in flames.
Passenger David Yoon tweeted ""I just crash landed at SFO. Tail ripped off. Most everyone seems fine. I'm ok. Surreal..."
Many survivors updated their Twitter and Facebook pages to let family and friends know that they were all right.
Two Chinese students aboard the plane were killed. Their bodies were found outside the aircraft. More than half of the 307 passengers and crew were taken to hospital with injuries, nearly 50 critical.
