S.Fla Winners Take Home Six Digit Prize
MIAMI (CBSMIAMI/AP) – Two lucky South Floridians are starting the new year off with wallets full of cash. They both hit the big jackpot in Monday's "Fantasy Five" lottery drawing to win $104,000 each.
One of the winners purchased their ticket in Palm Beach Gardens while the other purchased theirs in the The Villages, just northeast of Wildwood.
The winning numbers were 8-13-29-32-34. Two hundred and twenty one tickets matched four of the five numbers for a $152 each.
This Wednesday, lottery players will have their eyes on the prize, or in this case a $5 million jackpot, when the winning numbers are drawn in the Florida Lottery. In Powerball, the jackpot will be an estimated $30 million for Wednesday's drawing.
