Rubio Says No To V-P Run
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The GOP presidential field looks to be set, meaning the focus will now turn to who would make the best running mate.
Speculation has swirled that freshman Florida Senator Marco Rubio would be the top choice of the eventual GOP presidential candidate.
But, Rubio is stopping the speculation before it gets out of control.
"I'm not going to be the vice-presidential nominee," Rubio said.
He continued saying that he didn't run for the Senate "to have a launching pad for another job."
Rubio has been seen as a candidate due to his charisma and the ability to appeal to the Hispanic voters across the country.
