Road Work To Close Parts Of 836 & 826 This Week
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Major overnight road closures begin this week on State Roads 826 and 836 that could affect your late night drive. The construction is part of the ongoing expressway interchange reconstruction work.
The following road closures begin Monday night between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. until Saturday October 6th.
All northbound 826 lanes will be closed from north of West Flagler Street to SR 836. Drivers can:
- Go east on SR 836, exit at NW 72 Avenue
- Turn north on NW 72 Avenue and enter SR 836 westbound
- Access northbound SR 826 ramp
The eastbound 836 ramp to northbound 826 will be closed. Drivers can:
- Continue eastbound on SR 836, exit at NW 72 Avenue
- Go north on NW 72 Avenue to access westbound SR 836
- Access the northbound SR 826 ramp
On Monday and Tuesday nights, all southbound 826 lanes will be closed from Northwest 12th Street to West Flagler. Drivers can:
- Go west on SR 836, exit at NW 12 Street/NW 87 Avenue
- Go west to NW 87 Avenue, turn south
- Access the eastbound SR 836 ramp and stay right to enter SR 826 southbound
On Monday and Tuesday nights, the westbound 836 ramp to southbound 826 will be closed. Drivers can:
- Go north on SR 826, exit at NW 25 Street
- Go west and access the SR 826 southbound ramp
- Go west on SR 836, exit at NW 12 Street/NW 87 Avenue
- Go west to NW 87 Avenue, turn south
- Access the eastbound SR 836 ramp and stay right to enter SR 826 southbound
On Monday and Tuesday nights, the southbound 826 ramp to eastbound 836 will be closed. Drivers can:
- Go west on SR 836, exit at NW 12 Street/NW 87 Avenue
- Go west to NW 87 Avenue, turn south
- Access the eastbound SR 836 ramp
On Monday and Tuesday nights, the ramp lane from NW 72nd Avenue to 836 westbound will be closed. Drivers can:
- Go north on SR 826, exit at NW 25 Street
- Go west and access the SR 826 southbound ramp
- Access the westbound SR 836 ramp
The following closures will take place between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.:
On Monday and Tuesday nights, two lanes will be closed on westbound 836 from NW 72nd Avenue to just west of 826; and two lanes will be closed on eastbound 836 from NW 87th Avenue to just east of 826.
