Richt: "We're Going To Run A Program We're Going To Be Proud Of"
University of Miami head football coach Mark Richt joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the latest scandal that developed over the weekend surrouding the university, helping develop student athletes to do right off the field, satellite camps should be a part of recruiting calendar and the indoor facility being builta.
On the scandal- "I am not exactly sure what's going to happen, right now is not the time to discuss that."
"Bottom line we're going to run a program we're going to be proud of."
"It's more valuable to me to be around your players, it's been much more important to spend time with your players and coaches than to run across the country to recruit."
"For me what I think is important right now is to spend time with players, it is recruiting there is no other purpose for it. I think if you made it part of the recruiting calendar it would make more sense."
